Road Trip

Brought a GPS along on vacation. Hoping it could direct us through Portland with no diversions.

I thought it would be nice if it could show us where we were over a map of where we were going. That would be helpful when we're paged to the Back of Beyond.

Doesn't work like that.

A lot of the time it looked like this.

Follow the pink ribbon, Dorothy.

 At least we hadn't fallen off the pink ribbon into the uncharted white space.

OTOH, the view out the windshield didn't offer a lot of info either.

Not Kansas, it just looks flat.
