Ssh!

Where I don't exactly follow directions.
So, what else is new?

Today’s Poetry Prompt:Write a poem that ends with the word “quiet”.

Quiet

She never stops talking.

Never.

She's six.

And she never stops talking.

I'm forty.

And can't quit listening.

Do birds have blankets,
how's Santa get in,
where do trees come from,
can flowers cry,
look! look! there!
S-T-O-P, S-T-O-P,
I can read that.

My ears are worn out.
